Drake’s alleged ‘baby mama’ has been revealed to be former porn star Sophie Brussaux, who went by the stage name Rosee Divine, after Pusha T claimed that the Nice For What rapper had a secret son called Adonis in the diss track The Story of Adidon.

Pusha T’s latest release in the long line of diss tracks between the two artists took aim at Drake and was announced alongside a picture of the Canadian rapper in blackface, the image having been originally used to promote Too Black Guys clothing line, Jim Crow Couture.

While the picture Pusha T posted has been removed by Instagram, The Story of Adidon was in response to Drake’s track Duppy Freestyle, which also mentioned Kanye West and Virgil Abloh. But who is Sophie Brussaux?

Who is Sophie Brussaux?

Born in France in 1990, Sophie Brussaux is currently a social media star who lives in New York and focuses on her artwork. She was formerly known as Rosee Divine, the name she used when she appeared in adult films.

On her website, it claimed that: ‘Since her younger years she’s been travelling and studying abroad, which greatly influenced her art. She exhibited in cities like NYC, Milan, and London. Her style is a mix of surrealism and symbolism with influences of pop art.

‘She uses various media such as oil paint, acrylic, or pastels and mixes them together to express strong emotions. She likes to paint about what women of her generation go through.

‘In a digital era where social media and communication reign, where love and money are often at conflict, where opportunity corrupts morals and intentions...it is not easy to be a woman!

‘Above all, Sophie’s work reveals her deep concern for the human condition in society - and how she feels something needs to change.’

Back in 2017, Sophie was identified as the brunette spending time with Drake during his time in Amsterdam around the same time that he was linked to Jennifer Lopez.

The pair were pictured laughing and nibbling on food at a restaurant with a group of friends and it was not clear whether or not the meeting was on romantic terms.

She was recently catapulted into the spotlight after rapper Pusha T released a diss track taking aim at Drake, which alleged the latter had a secret son with the former porn star that he is ignoring.

Pusha T and Drake beef

The beef between Drake and Pusha T has escalated after remaining somewhat unremarkable in recent years amid Pusha’s occupation with Lil Wayne and Drake’s more high-profile fights with Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar, to name a few.

After Pusha T’s first diss track against Lil Wayne Mr. Me Too came out in 2002, Drake joined Lil Wayne’s label Young Money Entertainment which resulted in Pusha T taking aim on Don’t F*** with Me after Take Care was released.

The lyrics were: ‘Rappers on their sophomores / Actin’ like they boss lords / Fame such a funny thing for sure / When n****s start believing all them encores.’ Pusha T then released Exodus 23:1 which was about Drake’s contract with Young Money, an imprint of Cash Money Records.

‘Contract all f***ed up / I guess that means you all f***ed up / You signed to one n***a that signed to another n***a / That’s signed to three n***as / Now that’s bad luck,” he rapped.

After another aim in the form of Your Favourite Rapper, Drake retaliated with Tuscan Leather on the album Nothing Was The Same. He rapped: 'Bench players talkin’ like starters / I hate it.’

He continued: ‘I’m just as famous as my mentor / But that’s still the boss, don’t get sent for / Get hype on tracks and jump in front of a bullet you wasn’t meant for.’

In 2016, Pusha T released H.G.T.V. and referenced the emerging rumours that Drake used ghostwriters: ‘It’s too far gone when the realest ain’t real / I walk amongst the clouds so your ceilings ain’t real / These n***as Call of Duty ‘cause their killings ain’t real / With a questionable pen so the feelin’ ain’t real.’

In Two Birds, One Stone, Drake called out Pusha for discussing drug dealing in his songs: ‘But really it’s you with all the drug dealer stories / That’s gotta stop, though / You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo...

‘You middle-man in this s**t, boy you was never them guys / I can tell, ’cause I look most of you dead in your eyes / And you’ll be tryna sell that story for the rest of your lives.'

In 2018, the feud took a new turn, with the release of Pusha T’s Daytona.

On the track Infrared, he compared Drake to President Donald Trump and how the former allegedly used a ghostwriter Quentin Miller and the latter had ties to Russia. Pusha raps: ‘The lyric pennin’ equal the Trumps winnin’ / The bigger question is how the Russians did it / It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin.’

Drake fired back with the song Duppy Freestyle, which opens with the rapper sighing in exasperation and referencing a microphone he once owned that was signed by Pusha T. ‘I had a microphone of yours but then the signature faded / I think that pretty much resembles what has been happening lately.’

Alongside this, Drake took aim at Kanye West, who produced Infrared and rapped about the tracks Father Stretch My Hands and 30 Hours. ‘What do you really think of the n***a that’s making your beats? / I’ve done things for him I thought he never would need / Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me / I pop style for 30 hours, then let him repeat.’

Drake then ended the song asking for Pusha T for an invoice for extra publicity and later, posted it online. After this, Pusha T responded with the release of The Story of Adidon.

The Story of Adidon

The release of The Story of Adidon resulted in more controversy for Pusha T soon after Kanye West paid $85k for the 2006 picture of Whitney Houston’s drug-strewn bathroom for the album cover of Daytona.

The track was accompanied with an image of Drake apparently wearing blackface from an old photoshoot. David Leyes, the artist who took the photo said that ‘he’s proud to be part of a strong statement made by a black man about the f***ed up culture he is living in’.

Fans have perceived the image as offensive and in addition to this, the lyrics reveal that Drake has a secret child with the former porn star Sophie Brussaux and refers to the rapper as a ‘deadbeat m*******a’.

‘Adonis is your son / And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real / Love that baby, respect that girl / Forget she’s a pornstar, let her be your world,’ he rapped.
