Some Projects in The Works

ShooterFoto Magazine asked Photographers across the US and Canada to present aspiring models that have the necessary qualities to make it in the Modeling World.
Three models I recently shot were selected to appear in the November Issue.

Stop by occasionally to see what we're working on...

We're always changing things:

Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton, SC

A lovely place for a photo shoot...

A Recent Series Titled:  "Fish another day"   May River Bluffton, SC

A dark, foggy and gloomy day, yet the colors in the roofs and canvas still show through.  There's always a bright side to gloom.

And Finally:  I was at a shoot at Hampton Hall Clubhouse not long ago, and when I was leaving I noticed this Heron.  He was lit up by the setting sun and looked like he was on fire.  It took me about three minutes to stop the car, grab my gear and inch my way up to this shot.  The Heron allowed me to take about a dozen shots before he flew off.  What a great picture on a spontaneous moment.  He was "Motionless" but there is a slight ripple in the water.  Most noticeable on the left side of the photo.  When seen in person, it appears that the reflection of the bird is more in focus than the bird up top.  I believe the top bird gets lost in the grass, and below has much more contrast against the blue sky.  A really cool picture.

Shot December 7, 2008 with a Nikon D300, Nikkor 18-200, 200mm at 1/125, ISO 1000
