I've been into film photography since the 80's. I am still fascinated by the female form and love the more eclectic look of cosplay and other fantasy imagery. I got a high resolution full-frame camera in mid 2014: a Nikon D810. Then added a higher-rez D850 in early 2018. My latest acquisition is a Z8. I also invested in some portable studio lighting equipment with ample battery packs to be able to shoot most anywhere w/o the need for an outlet or cords to trip over. Glamor photography is more of a hobby of mine, so my time is limited. I love working with friendly (reliable) models from time to time; such as group shoots where I can rack off hundreds of shots an hours shooting several different models, but then I have to spend hundreds of hours sorting and processing those images. Over the last 3-decades I've edited well over a million digital images. I mainly use ACDsee Pro to editing software.

I love edgier art; wild clothing, make-up, body paint, cosplay, tattoo, and such. I don't think anything (legal) would shock me. "You would not believe the things I've seen with these eyes". I have some classy musical instruments, staffs, costumes, swords, spears, skate boards, and other fun props to use as well.

Model Shoot Policies:
I know all this business talk is no fun, but these details can help make sure this will turn out as a good experience for both of us. Here are some details and policies to consider for a private shoot. Benefits you are not likely to get from most other photographers:

Locations:
If you are within or going to be in the Portland, Oregon area and are open to setting up a private shoot with me, please let me know. I have portable lighting with battery packs, so indoor/outdoor locations shoots are no problem.

Why I Would Shoot You for Free:
What is a photographer without a good subject? As you'll see from my business web site I make a decent living as a Coppersmith, but it is still more interesting and fun to capture creative people as a fun hobby, which is why I'm not trying to make money off it. I don't want artistic photography to become a stressful chore. I'd love to see what we could do with some time and an assortment of outfits and hair styles on an open-minded model.

Body Shape:
That's great if you are in good shape, but I do not expect you to be slender. I do not have a fetish for BBWs, but I strongly feel we should redefine beauty as 'what is a healthy look', yet we seem to have rather unhealthy standard pushed on our youth these days through the media. I think a woman should have some nice soft curves.

Chaperones:
You are welcome to bring along most anyone you want to help out, or to feel comfortable and safe with, as long as they would not be disruptive. I will not be working alone with a model as well for my reputation sake, so it could never become 'my word against her's' situation. My reputation as a respectable photographer is very important to me.

Nude Modeling & Compensation:
If you'd rather keep things rated G that's perfectly fine for TFP compensation (trade for pics). As you can see I am open to sexy glamour shots, but not looking for any physical contact, so that is not a worry. Sexier modeling can be compensated work. Models typically charge photographer $50 an hour for implied nudes, and twice as much for full nude work; depending on your look and qualifications. Be careful not to ask for much more or you are venturing into escort territory, where 'photographer' may be expecting more from you than just posing for his lens. That is not what I am looking for.

Photos Distribution:
As you may know most modeling releases do not require the Photographer to share any of those shots with you, or give the model any rights to control how those photos are used indefinitely. If you were open to posing nude, but did not want them shared on-line I would honor that request, but compensation would be considerably less with that restriction. I will still share any images with you privately to use as you wish.

My Aim:
During a shoot I want to keep it as light-hearted and pleasant as possible for all involved. I will not be bossing you around or trying to talk you into taking off your clothes during a shoot, which is why it's best to set a clear understanding beforehand. I do not want you to feel any pressure to do more than you are comfortable with, so do not be shy to make this quite clear. I do not want to offend anyone from this collaboration.
